Dentistry Services Provided By The Practitioners at Modern Healthcare Professionals Are:
Dental implants are metal posts or frames that are surgically positioned into your jawbone beneath your gums. Once in position and after the healing process (usually around 2 to 3 months), the post allows our dentists to mount an artificial replacement tooth on it securely so it will not move, shift or slip once cemented in. Implants have been suggested to feel more natural than conventional methods of tooth replacements.
Cosmetic dentistry is an option for those people who desire to create a change to their teeth and overall smile, and to those who are genuinely unhappy with their smile.
We are fortunate to have our own dental laboratory and third generation experienced dental technicians who work directly with our dentists and patients to help design, create and execute their desired cosmetic outcome.
For extensive cosmetic treatments our teams work closely together and we have the ability to involve our patients throughout the process giving them the opportunity to experience firsthand the designing and developmental stages, with our state of the art technology programs and machines.
Our dental practitioners can discuss the various options such as teeth whitening, dental veneers, crowns, bridges, implants and full mouth restorations, and can tailor pricing packages to your needs.
Dental Crowns
For badly damaged teeth, dental crowns can be an effective long-term treatment option. A dental crown is a custom made tooth covering that is constructed in our dental laboratory by a milling machine and hand finished by our dental technician, which is placed over your existing tooth. This artificial tooth is colour matched to your existing teeth. A dental crown eliminates any discomfort, allowing your teeth to function as normal.
Dental Bridges
Dental bridges enable you to achieve a natural-looking smile after tooth loss. They provide an alternative treatment option to dental implants or dentures to fill in gaps caused by missing teeth.
A dental bridge is typically made up of two dental crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap which are attached to the false tooth (or pontic) in between (filling the gap).
A bridge can be supported by natural teeth, dental implants or a combination of both. The type of bridge you choose will be dependent on the current condition of your teeth, your budget, and the cosmetic outcome you may desire.
Depending on your individual goals for treatment as well as your exsiting dentition, our dentists will help you to come to a well-informed decision about which type of crown or bridge is recommended for you.
We provide both in chair whitening and “do it yourself” take home whitening kit options. Speak with our professionals about these options in detail.
Our dentists provide general and restorative treatments such as: consultations, treatment plans, scale clean and polishes, fillings and extractions overall addressing dental problems that require necessary treatment. Silver or amalgam dental fillings are not used within our practices, restorations are constructed with tooth coloured composites. Your amalgam fillings can be replaced with natural, tooth-colour composite restorations also if you desire so speak with our friendly dentists if you require further information.
All of our dental practitioners are passionate about the promotion of good oral health in children. Not only are our dentists well known for being gentle but they also serve as great oral educational resources for parents.
